CHOOSE CURIOSITY OVER CERTAINTY

A few mornings ago, I caught myself doing something I think we've all done.

I was trying to figure everything out.

What's next?

Am I on the right path?

How is this all going to come together?

The funny thing is, the harder I tried to find certainty, the more I realized I was missing what was happening right in front of me.

Then this thought quietly arrived...

What if I chose curiosity instead?

Not because I know everything is going to unfold exactly the way I imagine.

But because I don't.

And honestly... I think that's part of the adventure.

When I look back over my life, so many of the best things arrived in ways I never could have predicted.

A conversation that changed everything.

A friendship I didn't see coming.

An opportunity that wasn't even on my radar.

None of those beautiful moments came with a warning label.

They simply appeared when the timing was right.

That reminds me there's so much happening beyond what I can currently see.

Maybe someone is thinking about you today.

Maybe a new opportunity is quietly making its way toward you.

Maybe the answer you've been hoping for is already beginning to unfold behind the scenes.

We rarely get to see the rearranging while it's happening.

We usually only recognize it when we look back and smile.

So today, instead of asking, "How is this all going to work out?"

I'm trying a different question...

"I wonder what beautiful surprise today might have in store?"

That one simple shift fills me with so much more peace... and a lot more excitement.

I'd much rather spend my day looking forward to what I haven't imagined yet than worrying about what I can't control.
